‘Imiloa Celebrates Thanksgivings with a Cream Tea & Chat!
‘Imiloa Astronomy Center celebrates Thanksgiving at the next Tea Chat with JoAnn Aguirre on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Thanksgiving is all about honoring old traditions and starting new ones. This month’s Tea Chat will introduce autumnal flush teas and suggest how they can be a delicious addition to your Thanksgiving table. Come share some of your own cherished Thanksgiving traditions while enjoying an afternoon tea that includes scones, clotted cream, and jams or curd.
Aguirre is a tea connoisseur and has twenty years of experience working and traveling around the world. She is the owner Teaching Tea (a soon-to-be online store) and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Tea Society. Always willing to teach and share her knowledge, Aguirre’s Tea Chats have been a popular monthly event at ‘Imiloa for the past two years.
Tickets for this event are $15 for members and $23 for non-members and can be purchased by visiting ‘Imiloa’s Guest Services Desk or by calling (808) 969-9703.
