A Cream Tea & Chat with JoAnn Aguirre

‘Imiloa presents a Cream Tea & Chat on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. September is National Awareness month for women’s health and childhood obesity.

Enjoy tea, scones, clotted cream and jams or curds while JoAnn Aguirre presents the latest research on joannetea as a preventive measure for many chronic diseases, including gynecologic cancers, and childhood obesity.

This event is part of an on-going Tea Chat Series presented byJoAnn Aguirre. With over twenty years of experience in tea, Aguirre shares her knowledge and experiences she’s gained from around the world. She is owner of Hawai‘i Island’s only dedicated tea shop, Teaching Tea located in Manono Marketplace. They offer tea education, quality loose leaf teas, gifts and accessories. They also carry exquisite Hawai‘i grown tea, as well as teas from around the world.Tickets for this event are $15 for members and $23 for non-members and can be purchased by visiting ‘Imiloa’s front desk or by calling (808) 969-9703.
